CAPSULES SERIES
As part of an artistic exercise, in which we look for the perception of others on our pieces, we present Alessandro Furchino Capria’s take on a set of stools from our Capsules Series.
project overview
We present Alessandro Furchino Capria’s vision of a curated selection of stools from our Capsules Series. This collaboration offers a fresh perspective on the functional.
Concept & Execution
The Capsules Series was conceived as an interplay between everyday function and artistic expression.
Furchino Capria's approach to this series is rooted in his signature photographic style.
Captured through the lens of Ruben Ortiz, the chaise finds its perfect setting in the home of Robbie Whitehead (2024). The photography, masterfully executed by Coke Bartrina, elevates the narrative, highlighting the way light, space, and texture interact to bring the piece to life.
Art Direction & Visual designs
Furchino Capria’s visual narrative unfolds through a careful study of light and shadow, where the stools become the protagonists of a minimal yet evocative environment.
The art direction embraces a restrained yet bold aesthetic, stripping away excess to reveal the fundamental characteristics of each stool.
Conclusion
This project challenges conventional interpretations of functional design.
By stripping objects of their immediate associations, this collaboration invites us to engage with them in new ways.
